Meet Andrea Blumberg, LAC (she/her/hers):

Hello! I’m a therapist at Olive Branch Therapy Group and a Licensed Associate Counselor. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico and my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University. My previous experience was in a hospice setting working with individuals struggling with the loss of a family member.

My Therapy Specialties:

I specialize in working with teens and adults dealing with:

  • Grief, loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
  •  I also have a special interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ population.

What drew me to this work:

I always knew I wanted a meaningful and fulfilling career. Through my experiences seeing loved ones struggle with their own mental health, I was inspired to become a therapist. I found my passion in helping others feel heard and understood. We all deserve to be supported during challenges in life and it’s a privilege for me to be a part of someone’s healing process. I will work with clients to process their experiences and bring more peace into their lives.

My style:

My style is warm, caring and compassionate. I use a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach and empower clients to recognize their own abilities. I incorporate mindfulness, solution-focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques along with other therapies. My goal is to provide an accepting and non-judgmental environment for you to process your feelings. We will work together to find the right approach to meet your goals. I look forward to being a part of your journey toward healing and wellness.

Services I offer:

In-person individual and family therapy
