Meet Emma Sartain, LSW:

Hello! I’m a therapist at Olive Branch Therapy Group and a Licensed Social Worker. I received my undergraduate degree from York College of Pennsylvania and my Masters’ in Social Work with a Certificate in Interpersonal Violence and Trauma from Rutgers University. Previously I have worked in both crisis intervention and long-term counseling settings. I specialize in healthy relationship building, personal and past family traumas and abuse.

My Therapy Specialties:

I specialize in working with adolescents, teens and adults dealing with:

  • Trauma
  • Grief/Loss
  • Self-Esteem and Growth
  • Boundary Setting and Communication
  • Empowerment
  • Stress Management and Mood Regulation
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Intimate Partner Violence/Teen Dating Violence

What drew me to this work:

I have always been interested in how we grow and change as individuals, and the ways that we impact each other during that process. I believe that everyone deserves access to a system of support as they engage in the change process, and I am honored to be a part of that system. I am regularly in awe of the individual capacity to change and seek to provide trauma-informed care across the lifespan in order to support that continued growth.

My style:

I strive to provide warm and genuine spaces for my clients. I believe in humor, transparency, and meeting clients where they are in their individual journey. I have found that one of the most supportive things I can provide is a space that is safe and truly non judgemental. I believe that you are the expert in your own lived experience and emphasize that you are the one who has gotten you through until now!

Services I offer:

In-person individual therapy
