Meet Sharon Coyle-Saeed: Hello! I’m a therapist at Olive Branch Therapy Group and a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). I received my undergraduate degree from Rutgers College and my graduate degree from Rutgers University School of Social Work with a specialty in Health & Aging. I’ve been in practice since 2014.
My Therapy Specialties:
I specialize in working with individuals, couples, families, and groups dealing with:
- Anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, chronic disease/terminal illness, medical trauma, Somatic Symptom Disorders and grief & loss.
What drew me to this work: After adapting and coping to living with an Autoimmune Disease, it became my passion to share with others, mechanisms that may help make even a moment of one’s life better through active listening and an emotionally safe environment. I am committed to your journey into wellness: body, mind and soul.
My style: My approach with clients is both holistic and strengths-based. To achieve emotional health, I believe it is important to focus on all areas of self: the mind, body and spirit while building on the strengths already present in their lives. My setting is safe, non-judgmental, empathetic and a heart with ears. My interventions are eclectic and based on the need and fit for each client which include: Compassion Focused, Culturally Sensitive, Humanistic, Mindfulness Based, Strengths Perspective, Somatic, Trauma Sensitive, Systems Theory and Psychosocialspiritual approach.
Services I offer: In person individual, couples, family, and group therapy as well as online video counseling for residents of New Jersey.
