Meet Danielle Pasko, LPC (she/her/hers):
Hello! I’m a therapist at Olive Branch Therapy Group and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I received my undergraduate degree from Towson University and my graduate degree from Villanova University. I’ve been in practice since 2020.
My Therapy Specialties:
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with:
Anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, eating disorders, body image, self-esteem and stress management
I also have a particular interest in working with those who identify as athletes or former athletes who struggle with body image and adjusting to life after their athletic career. I also have an interest in working with those who struggle with various chronic medical conditions and assisting them with navigating life with those conditions.
What drew me to this work:
Since I was 14 years old I knew that I wanted to be a therapist and that my calling in life was to help others. One of my strengths is being able to connect with people by providing a space for them to feel seen, heard, and understood. I am someone who is motivated, determined and resilient. I believe that all people are inherently resilient.
However, during a hardship it can be difficult for a person to believe that they can overcome that obstacle. This is what drove me to be a therapist. I love helping people uncover what is blocking them from seeing how resilient they are. We all have strengths; we sometimes need help discovering them. I believe therapy is a journey that helps people better understand themselves and in turn assists them in making better decisions for themselves which leads to them reaching their full potential.
My style:
I believe that my clients are the experts in their lives and I am honored to assist them on their journey. I provide a safe, empathic, and warm environment for my clients, to ensure they feel as comfortable as possible during a potentially difficult time in their lives. My goal is to meet my clients where they are at and conduct therapy at a pace that feels right for them using a collaborative approach. I believe therapy looks different for each client and is most effective when techniques and modalities used are tailored to how the client is presenting and their current goals.
A Little About Me:
I like to go for walks and run outside when the weather is nice.
